Does KnowledgeLab sell directly to end user customers?

We do not have a commercial sales force nor the support structure for corporate accounts. Our strategy is to sell through the VAR market. We do reserve the right, under special circumstances, to sell to a customer, however if there is a licensed VAR in the territory they will be compensated. For instance a special circumstance could be a demand from an account to deal directly with the OEM. Back To Top

Do have protected territories for your resellers?

We limited competition in protected geographic territories with one VAR per market segment. A market segment is based on the number of establishments with 500 plus employees per the 2002 U.S. business census. Each market segment consists of approximately 5,000 business locations with 500 plus establishments. For example a Metropolitan Statistical Area (SMA) with 10,000 establishments would only have 2 VAR licenses issued. Three national VAR licenses may be sold.

What are the qualifications to become a TABS reseller?

We look for established VARS selling solutions in the accounting / business intelligence market. Resellers should have an established account base with an outside sales force and a reputation for quality work. Back To Top

How much does TABS cost?

End user pricing is determined by the reseller with established minimums. KnowledgeLab has pricing models but it is ultimately up to the reseller to decide the end user pricing. To become a TABS reseller there is a nominal cost to acquire the source code, marketing materials, pricing models and training materials. There is a small royalty on product sales only. Any training or integration revenues are not subject to royalties. Contact us and we will have a sales representative call you with additional information. We understand that if we can not cost justify our system we will not earn your business. We are confident that given the opportunity we can demonstrate how you can make millions with our TABS Software.

How many users can you support?

TABS is completely scalable to as many users or number of budgets your customer requires. TABS has been proven in Fortune 50 companies with hundreds of budgets. TABS is also ideal for smaller organizations who desire to control expenses and know their financial condition with the click of a mouse. Back To Top

What makes TABS different from other budget software packages?

Where to begin? TABS is a comprehensive, feature rich Operating AND capital budget solution. Most offerings in the market today focus just on operating budgets. TABS does both with more features and capabilities than our competitors. Many packages are a rehash of Excel spreadsheets that ease the burden of rolling up the many sheets required to form a total budget. These solutions do not allow for real time, instantaneous tracking of expenses to budget, project tracking or in-service of equipment. TABS does! For a more detailed answer please go to our products page for a complete features list. Additionally, KnowledgeLab does not compete with it's resellers and provides protected territories. Does TABS replace my current financial system?

No! TABS works parallel to existing financial systems. TABS exchanges data with current systems to track purchasing of equipment and internal / external labor. By running in parallel with current financials TABS provides an indispensable audit capability while ensuring you know what equipment is in-service, what has been purchased by budget center and what is to be purchased. This also allows volume purchase agreements to be managed effectively and labor costs to maximized. Back To Top

How difficult is it to install and use TABS?

Not difficult at all. Your consultants can easily import existing data. Since TABS is an independent system all you will need is a server with Oracle or DB2 and data mapping between systems. Back To Top

Will TABS require additional work from end users?

No, unless your customer is not currently preparing annual budgets. Current data can be imported into TABS and the budget process will continue as normal except with TABS the budget becomes a working tool to analyze current financial conditions. TABS also allows for attaching of documentation files to budgets minimizing the justification process and allowing for an audit trail should an employee leave or verification of why a budget was approved in the first place.
